Born and raised as a Muslim in Kuwait, Naeem Fazal came to the United States shortly after the Gulf War of 1990. In 1992, he had a supernatural experience with Christ that changed the course of his life and led to his ordination at Seacoast Church in 2001. Five years later, with the help of Seacoast Church, the Association of Related Churches (ARC) and Mosaic Los Angeles, Fazal planted Mosaic Church in Charlotte, N.C., one of the country’s most innovative churches. Naeem has been featured in Relevant Magazine, Leadership Journal and Charlotte Magazine. He is a member of the ARC advisory team, Origins Project Leadership Team and is affiliated with the Mosaic Alliance and Church Multiplication Network. He is the President of the Royal School and Orphanage in Uganda and co-founder of Charlotte’s citywide outreach initiative “What If Everyone.” An international speaker, Naeem has spoken at various conferences and churches, including Catalyst 2009, Origins Project and The Nines.
